Monte J Wilson

Monte Wilson was raised in southwest Oklahoma City and graduated from Moore High School in 1978.  He received a BA from the University of Oklahoma in 1982 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1985.  He is the grandson of Ray G. Wilson, former Associate District Judge of McClain County, and great-nephew of Purman Wilson, an attorney and state legislator of renown from Purcell.

Monte practiced law for 17 years with Jack Gray & Associates (later Gray, Autry & Wilson, Attorneys at Law) at the corner of S.W. 89th and Penn in Oklahoma City until starting a solo practice in 2002.  Since 2011 Monte has been privileged to share office space in Norman with attorneys Joe Farnan and Michael Gardner on West Lindsey Street until October of 2022 when the trio moved their offices to 307 E. Eufaula Street (just south of the Cleveland County courthouse).

Monte is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Chickasaw Nation Bar Association.  He and his wife, Nancy, live in Oklahoma City.
